PNC CASH Rewards Approval -

I don't even know why I applied I was just so curious to see if I would get approved and the rewards are pretty OK.

They surprised me with 12.5k and the upgrade to visa signature!!!    Had 6 recent inquiries at the time too.

Does anyone know if you can have two PNC credit cards and the timeframe you should wait to get them.

I do need to garden though for like a YEAR now.

Re: PNC CASH Rewards Approval -

You can have 2 cards from PNC (maybe more?)

I have two cards from them, but I got mine about 1.5 years apart. Didn’t try sooner, so I’m not sure what the minimum time between card applications is.

Re: PNC CASH Rewards Approval -

I don't know if they'll auto deny you if you apply within x number of days, but I got approved for the second card after 6 months of getting approved for the first card

I got the same card in April as soon as I had a credit score and they also gave me 12.5k! (more than doubling my TCL at that time)

In Oct (6 months after getting approved) I applied for their premier traveler card and got approved for only 5k, reasonable since I have 20+ inq on my report and didn't use their other card much after getting the SUB. Called and tried to get CLI but no luck. Few days later my first card was eligible for CLI and I did get approved for an additional 5k (17.5k in total).

I do bank with them.

The best thing about them is that you can apply for a SP CLI every 6 months and they show you the date in the app and online. You can also opt in for an auto-CLI, which is what I did

Current open cards:
Schwab Amex Platinum (NPSL); Amex Gold (NPSL); HH Aspire ($31,700); Amex BBP ($27,000); HSBC Premier WMC ($21,500); USB Altitude Reserve ($20,000); USB Altitude Reserve ($10,000); WF Bilt MC ($9,400); Chase Freedom ($7,300), BofA Premium Rewards ($5,000); Apple Card ($4,750); BofA Alaska Visa ($4,200); USB Altitude Go ($1,000)

So you opted in for the SP CLI and they automatically did it for you for the 5k? That is pretty cool and good to know!!

I "bank" with them. I opened a savings account about 5 months ago with 10 dollars figuring I could use them some day. It is now at $10.06 LOL>

I added something to my first reply Smiley Happy

Just to clearify, I went to the app in Oct and did ask for the increase, but I also did opt-in for the auto-cli when I got the card

You may opt to redeem rewards once your rewards balance hits $25. They are not an automatic statement credit.
