I requested a CLI with PNC last month and was denied due to my balance being too high with PNC. It was reporting at 30% but they did not like that as I got my first denial. I paid the balance down to 20% and after the payment was applied I again reqeusted a CLI and this time it was approved. The statement has not cut yet so the system must have noticed the instant payment I made and I guess it brought the balance down enough to get my CLI. YAY!!!!!!!!! In my experience PNC has been very generous when they approve a CLI
My new limit is 16,500.00 making my soft pull increase 5K this time. They allow you to request every 6 months.
