Somehow the Mexican garden door wasn't locked or bolted shut as I slipped out and thought why not return to a card I held previously that can get 3% cashback with paying through PayPal for my side hustle eBay sales shipping labels. Then I also just learned yesterday you could stack the 3% cashback on top of other PayPal offers and couldn't keep off my trigger finger.
I was approved but not instantly. I first thought it was a denial as it said something like "We're sorry but we cannot approve your application. Please look for a letter in the next 7-10 business days. Thank you." Then I called CS and they told me it was pending and they had no more info to give me. So afterwards I went back to the application page and it asked me to upload some verification docs, then it said it's under review and it will be updated in the next 3-5 business days. Well this morning around 10:30 am CST they approved it with just a HP to TU which hasn't had any inquiries for over a year for $5,500!
I don't even need that much of a credit line since I'll be mostly be using it for shipping labels and the occasional PayPal offer as I have the Citi 2% DC for a better everything else card but I'm pleased! Now I am definitely going to go in the same garden and ask someone to hide the key for me!
