This community has been invaluable to me. This is actually my first post although I have been stalking this forum for a while (
). After reading through numerous post and waiting til I got my score over 700, I pulled the button and joined PenFed. Once I set up my checking/savings, I ventured and applied for the Platinum Rewards Visa Signature since the rep and this forum stated the same hp could be used for 30 days. Application went under review and just got the decision back.......APPROVED 18K!!! This is my biggest cl to date. Thanks for all the info on this board that helped me make this decision.

I've opened over 100k in lines in the past 12 months and they were still willing to put themselves on the hook for over 20% of that (which included a CLI), so they can't be too gun-shy.
