PenFed Power Cash Rewards APPROVED for 2nd card

Was messing around on on the PenFed App and noticed that the Request Credit Limit Increase button had disappeared on my Power Cash Rewards card so I called to ask why. The rep mentioned that threy were not giving increases at the time but they mentioned that it is allowed to have 2 of the same card so I applied for a second card. APPROVED with a $12.5K limit. Basically doubled my credit limit with them.

Did you ask / or did they give a reason why they're not granting CLIs?

I suppose I'll wait until 2026 to consider asking. If the relationship lasts that long.

No real reason. I just noticed the CLI button was missing. The CSR seemed to know they weren't accepting CLI requests though.
