It's been a couple weeks, but I got a PenFed PowerCash with 500 SL and a Discover It Student for 1500! 

Coming from a single 750 QS of 2 years, it's definitely something! Not much, but something. Hoping they'll grow!

Congrats I'm assuming they didn't like your Income a $500 approval is a borderline approval or u have a thin file.

Yeah, I was originally declined, but was able to get it with a recon through the awesome PenFed survey. My file is too thin. In retrospect, I probably should have apped for a CU later on and grabbed an AMEX or something, but oh well!

Thanks to both of you, yeah, I'm happy!!

I forgot to mention this, but I got the lowest Discover APR of 11.74!! So, I'm ecstatic about that, plus the 14 months of 0% APR too.

@12velectronics: Good luck to you getting into PenFed! They're picky, but really nice to work with.
