Soo seeing my EQ and TU scores finally bump up to couldnt help but app for PenFed. Membership instant approval then after having issues signing up for online access decided to App for the Promise Card since they use the same HP initally showed 3.5k approval then later it showed 4.5k. PLOC declined though oh well I will attempt that again after some time in the garden.

I got the promise at 4.5k? Ploc is Harder. If I were u I'd app for travel Amex if u have any desire. I was instantly approved for promise visa 1.5k then 2 minutes later instantly approved to travel Amex at 17.5k.

No dice on the AMEX either LOL. Im just happy to be in with PenFed. I still have one small unpaid CO on my report and 2 pretty old paid off baddies.  I was shoked by the 4.5K Promise though....I was approved for 3.5k then after the signatures it tured into 4.5k. I have had issue with the website from start thought, My Promise all still isnt "complete" but when I called to check the CSR told me that I am good to go and should be getting my 4.5K Promise Card in 5-7 days.

I will just treat them well as I have treated all my new cards well since I started my rebuild earlier this year. Too bad they were not like NASA....they decided they wanted to be my highest limit card at 6k....but not PenFed will come in at #2 with this 4.5K. Too bad both my Cap1 cards together only amouth to 1k.

Wondering if I should apply for a personal loan to pay some things off since its the same HP anyhow. They wont give me anything else other than my 4.5k Promise Card. Tried for a PLOC and another Card all shot down LOL.

Any thoughts. Looking at maybe 6k-8k. Would be good to have installment history again since my car loan was paid off a few years back in perfect standing.

big congrats! well considering you still had some old baddies on EQ report i think you did really good with a Penfed approval. They have been known to a be a strict lender who dont like baddies whatsoever. Im sure down the road you will have no problem for PLOC.
