In order to lower the rate .5% on her new, used car loan I applied for the Travel Rewards card for her. They used the same TU pull from two weeks ago. (30 day reuse policy). Asked for $25k, instantly approved, no docs, nothing. 0% for 12 / 11.4% after but we pay in full so who cares? There is a 10k point SUB for spending 1000 big ones in 90 days. They emailed immediately saying card is on the way.
Used TU 09 it seems (or Auto 9) 785 - (It was NOT 08, 04 or even Auto 08, 04 etc.)
9 TU INQ's, like 8/24 at least.
Used sole income $83k
Long history with BCU, a couple paid car loans before our downfall in 2014. All paid as agreed.
Other DP's slightly connected
The auto rate will be 2.14% at this point for a 75 month term (which they did without asking, still lowest used car rate) I already paid it down $10k to reduce interest. I have never seen an easier car loan happen.
No congrats needed, I just wanted to put these DP's out there for posterity in case anyone can use this to their benefit in the future.
