Friday morning before work I pulled the trigger on three new cards: US Bank Altitude Go, Wells Fargo Propel, and the PenFed Power Cash Rewards. The first was an instant approval ($5k SL), second called yesterday afternoon to verify identity and approved over the phone ($4k SL), third just sent the email confirmation of approval!
PenFed pulled Equifax which was 803 before but probably increased slightly this week after my BoA CLI and low utilization posted - I know Experian jumped 25 points to 818.
These are cards 2-4 for me, with no previous CC inquiries in the last 7 years. I do have 2 HPs from 23 months ago for refinancing my student loans.
No bads on reports, federal loans, private loans, income listed at 70k, and an auto loan.
Joined PenFed with checking and saving about two weeks ago to have whatever advantage that might get me with this app and for the 2% on cash back.
Definitely excited by this approval and happy for what is my new highest limit and now having 9x more available credit than I did at the start of the month!
Going to be joining the garden for awhile now unless I get anxious and just go forward on an Amex BCE just to get started with them.
