Prime visa approval

I check the pre approval every couple months and get denied. This time was pre approved and then the we'll let you know message. Couple days later got an email with an approval of 5k.

 2/6 6/12 10/24. 

 I guess they must lift the 5/24 rule around the holidays for this card?

As mentioned Amazon is one of the cards that one can get around the 5/24 rules on many occasions, but chase can always use the 5/24 rule if denied although odds certainly in your favor a lot more than other cards likely due to Amazon pushing back with Chase as Chase didnt want to lose this when it was up for renewal a few years ago and speculate that was one of points they had to give on along with CL's shortly before renewal or after were greatly increased as well without anyone asking.
