The cli after 6 statements is real! I got an email from Capital One today that my new statement was available and that my credit line had been increased from my starting limit of 1,000 to 3,000. I expected them to double it but going up to 3000 was a nice little surprise. The first 4 months with this card I paid in full each time having a balance of anywhere to 400 to 600. The last 2 months I paid all but about 50 and ran about 500 through. Pretty happy with Capital One right now
sidenote, I read lots of posts about people getting the auto 6 month cli, does anyone know how often after that they do cli or do you have to ask from this point on?

Congrats on the CLI!
I don't know about the auto increase, I have never gotten one but I have done well with cli requests. They seem to like a like of spend run through their cards for decent increases. Have you considered asking them if you can PC to the no AF QS? It is worth the request. If not now, then I would recommend it before your next AF is due. If the CSR says you don't have any offers, send a note on facebook making the request as they send it to the EO and I think they will give you better results.
CONGRATS on your 6 month CLI, way to go!!!
Congrats! Try the CLI button every 6 months. Thanks for sharing.
