It's been a while since I have posted here. It's also because I have been applying sparingly, one reason being saving for mortgage (though I did get the Freedom Flex last year as soon as it launched). We closed our mortgage a little over a month ago, so that made me a bit eager for some new cards.
This is what I got over the last few days:
1. Amex Platinum (100k + 10x grocery/gas and $200 off home improvement bonus offer)
2. Bank of America Cash Rewards ($200 bonus offer, $17k limit)
3. Capital One Venture ($3k limit (stingy), supposed to be 50k+50k points bonus but I'm a bit unsure now given I had closed Venture about 5 years ago)
4. Chase United Quest (100k bonus offer, $18.7k limit).
I literally applied for the Quest because I wasn't sure if Cap One will honor the Venture bonus, and I have some spend coming up.
Both the Platinum and the Quest weren't instant approvals (not sure why). I had to call in both times and was immediately approved after some verification questions. I called the numbers on the BD page.
