After reading about their 5% cash back & data points from this forum, I decided to go for it. I applied for membership this past Sunday morning thinking their system would pick back up & get around to a decision sometime on Monday so I unlocked my reports Sunday night so they could do their soft pull. I say that bc I still hadn't gotten an email by 3pm today. I then live chatted with a rep who informed me that my credit was locked. So she cancelled that app & redid the whole thing. That right there narrows it down & tells me they attempt the SP at the time of the application regardless of the day of the week. In retrospect, I feel kinda silly now for assuming otherwise, but hey, maybe others think how I did initially. Lol, but with the current CLs I have now, I thought it would be an easy $10K approval.

I follow AZEO & keep a $3 balance on my lowest card for 1% utilization. They pulled Experian & used FICO 9 as their model. Score was 800 with the newest account being 1yr. Inquiries were 1/6, 2/12, & 5/24. AAoA 3yrs 7mos, AoOA 15yrs 10mos.
I was approved for $5,000. After calling in to speak with a loan officer for reconsideration, I received the counter offer of the same amount and the reason was "Excessive Unsecured Debt"... & nothing else. I have 2 personal loans. A halfway paid off $20K from Penfed & a $15K from Navy Federal with a reporting balance of $12,182. At the end of the day, I'm happy with it as this approval puts me over the threshold of $200K in total credit & I plan on paying the loan down with Navy to 7% by Feb next year to keep the window of an auto CLI open come their annual review timeframe. Hope this helps anyone on the fence whether to apply or not.
