Ritz Approved

Been reading about the new changes to the Ritz card and have been travelling more lately.

I currently have the Marriott Visa and got that card for the miles and the fact I stay at Marriotts for travel a lot. Getting into gold level with Marriott is a great side benefit that will get lots of use and can use 3 nights at the Ritz in the future. When I was approved for the Marriott card I received a $12K SL.

I am far beyond 5/24 but after looking at the boards thought  would go ahead and apply. Instant approval (OK took 3 minutes) for $34K with the lowest advertised rate. Scores 797 to 814 with 4% utiization and income over $100K. Highest previous CL was $30K so I was a pleasantly surprised.

Now to knock out $5,000 in spend......

I thought the spend requirement is $4k..... I just checked the Chase website.

There is a new link to get the three nights at a Ritz versus the two nights. Higher AF as well.
