Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

Congrats 🎊 on the approval. Nice to see folks are getting off the waitlist and getting some nice limits.

It appears that Robinhood is giving people higher creditlines and for people looking to increase their high credit, it can be a great choice if you get an invite. After going on a credit spree and about to garden, I ended up getting a $10k limit. Not too shabby, as I only have one other card with that limit (after sort of rebuilding). The App has some terrific features, including multiple levels of virtual cards, a free trial virtual card, and a Single-Use card!

After approval, I was able to put in Apple Wallet and use straight-away. Hopefully the 3% remains long into the future.

Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

I don't think so because admittedly I have only a small portfolio with Robinhood. I was early to request access and I've been a long-time member of Robinhood. Not sure how they weigh it.

Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

Ah okay. Did you have Gold membership? I think there someone else in this forum that got approved with just $50 and no Gold membership

Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

Congrats on the approval! What is mind boggling to me is that I signed up for the waiting list a day after Robinhood announced the card, and I still haven't received the invitation to apply for the card. I already have the X1 Plus credit card with a $27,000 CL. However, if I can add this card to my arsenal it will be great! It would be nice to get the solid gold card, but getting the 10 friend referrals will be a challenge. Hopefully in the coming days I can get invitation to apply! Just like the X1 card, they do a soft pull and give you a preview of what your CL is going to be before you accept the application. Also, what I read on other sites they pull from Experian, which I didn't get a hard inquiry when I applied for the X1 card a while back.

Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

LoL same here! I have been on the waiting list since March 27th! and I still haven't received an invitation to apply for the card. Is worth noting that I am not signed up to the Robinhood Gold membership, perhaps that is the reason of the delay. Which I read on other sites that if you sign up for Gold, they will give you more priority with the application. I am thinking about signing up for Gold since they give you a free 30 days trial.

Re: Robinhood Gold Card Approval

I think it's all time based. I don't have nearly that level of asset on their platform.
