SECU MD Approval -- $25k

I've been reading on here that SECU MD has been generous with their credit lines, so I decided to apply and asked for $25k. Got the message: 'If your request is Approved, a loan processor will reach out to you within in 3-5 business days to discuss your approval.' Sure enough, a loan processor reached out on the 5th business day to say I was approved. Was very pleasantly surpised as I was not expecting to get approved. I had no previous relationship with SECU.

Data Points:

BK in 2015

Equifax 5 Score 705 (lower than I expected it would be, but I believe this is their mortgage score and I don't have a mortage. So I'm not sure if this hurts me??)

29% Utilization

Income $230k

Inquiries: 4, 8 and 4 in the last 24 months

New Accounts: 1 in the last 12 months. 12 in the last 24 months

They asked for no POI or any documentation

congrat...how many total open a/c you have? Which card have you applied for?  I was recently denied by this CU even though I got pre-approved offer from them...have been their member for more than a year...score was 799...utilization almost 0%...3 accounts in 12 months and 8 accounts in 24 months...my statistics seem better than yours except income , yet still i got denied for "exclation of debt" reason...I filed appeal, got denied by their panel as well.
