I applied and instantly got a number to call in to verify...

She asked to send me a text to the cell phone which I use as primary and as soon as I verified that she issued the approval

APPROVED $637 (say what... 37?)

I was like is that the MC?, she was like oh, hold please... several minutes later she came back and said it was just store card :/

Oh well, I can add my parents to the account and give it to them until either I get offered an upgrade or build little more history with Sams and I'll apply again! I'm happy for the approval.

edit: I find Sam's is more generous with CLIs. Mine started at $3500 in Oct last year.

When I was approved a year ago, I got the store card for 427. The odd number has something to do with the online app.

a year later I have the store card limit up to 10k and I have the mastercard at 9k.

i just charged once a month and paid in full before each statement.

Congrats CA. The store card can grow fast and I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't offer you a MC soon.
