Approved for a SL $4,000 with SavorOne.

I saw that CapOne gave me pre-approval for their Venture, VentureOne, Platinum, Savor, SavorOne, and Quicksilver.  I prequal for the entire catalogue of Chase, BOA, NFCU, or Discover line.

I already opened a Discover it Miles last September 2023 with SL $13,500, and an Ally Everyday Cash Back in January 2023 with SL $2,000.

I figured the 3% back on certain purchases with SavorOne would be different than the 1.5% and 2% I have with the Miles and Everyday Cash Back cards.

I had a Ch 7 discharge in March 2023, and my FICOs dropped to the Good range. That's thanks to 44 postive accounts on my credit reports with 12 positive accounts currently open. I had 11 credit cards, 49k in available credit, always Paid in Full. Average credit age is 11 years and oldest account is 19 years. The single negative loan I discharged had aged off my credit two months before I filed in November 2022.

I have $11,000 on my SavorOne. $10,000 on my QuickSilver, $15,000 on my Autograph, $5,000 on my Dicover It Cash Back, $3,500 on the Miles (it's new), $10,000 on the Synchrony PayPal I closed today. $5000 on an Amazon Synchrony, and closed and combined a Capital One QuickSilver (was a Platinum) and VentureOne last month. The VentureOne sat unused for a while. It's really only useful for funneling cashback from another card into miles, and out to a transfer partner, which we weren't doing much of.

Also on spouse's side AmEx BCP, Active Cash, Discover It Cash Back (so we can keep going past the cap on my card), and an AmEx Hilton.BofA Customized Cash Rewards, PNC Cash Rewards. Closed the Capital One Walmart last month because the deal is ending in September and ahead of the Discover quarter closing.

The cards I can't get or didn't want to take the hard pulls for, he got and added me as an AU. My FICO 9 Card Score which is what WF will show me with TransUnion is sitting at 711.

Capital One gives me their "Excellent Credit cards" and I burned them for $30,000. How they run a bank is like, up to them and stuff.

I keep an eye on the cards and quickly prune ones that we don't need anymore.

AmEx doesn't like to see lots of open credit with other lenders. It ups your internal risk score. Better to just kill unused lines of credit.

Capital One has the weaker of the travel cards. Their transfer partners are limited and their travel portal can be used for 5% with the QuickSilver anyway, which is still hardly worth it compared to just hitting the booking sites direct. Unless you like having to play around trying to get ahold of someone to do a price match when they're almost never the best price which defeats the purpose of a miles program.

The next AmEx will likely be a Delta Skymiles.

Do you really need to post this 11 times?

Anyway, from a former salesman, I can see why they like you.

The BK is on EX and TU, but it's not on EQ.

Re: Savor One approved, rebuilding

Okay, I guess have fun with your lower "Vantage" scores than I have, and your 6 inquiries, and maybe getting a Bank of America card that I have already. Toodles.

Oh, and a QuickSilver. I have the one for Excellent credit. What's in your wallet?

Vantage scores recover quickly after a bankruptcy. If your Vantage scores are really that low it means your FICO score is probably in the 600s.

I'm assuming that was JUST the lawyer, so you likely spent about $400 filing it and another $50 or so for the debtor's education.

We call this "Going after a fly with a bazooka."

At least despite whatever flaw I have, when I do something I do it big. Smiley Tongue Not just hitting something in a car I opted out of loan payoff coverage on.
