I've been rebuilding my credit for past year and I am not at TU 627 and EQ 598 according to creditKarma. This time last year I had one credit card and that was for CreditOneBank with a limit of $300. I then got SurgeCard with a CL of $500 a few months later. I really could not get anything else at the time and decided to wait a bit. I applied for a CaptialOne Credit card this time last year and was denied. I reapplied for a secured Capital One card and was approved last month. So over the past week I was approved for Amazon($700), WalMart($500), and Bridgestone($1200). I took a few hits as I was denied by a few companies. So as of right now I have establed a decent amount of credit in the past year.
Walmart - $500
Amazon - $700
Bridgestone - $1200
CapitalOne Secured - $200
CreditOneBank - $400
SurgeCard - $500
Fingerhut - $2000
I tried to call and use to automated service to get an increase on my Walmart and Amazon card but both were denied so that CL is fine for now. I would really like to get these cards over 1k.

1. close credit one... you don't need it and you can avoid the fees to close it now.
2. go back into capital one and run the pre-qual for yourself and see if they offer you unsecured.
3. wait for amazon and walmart to come in mail and set up online accounts and request an increase through chat (automated phone is like hitting the button online and that will only work every 4 statements at best with Sync, chat and credit solutions is different.
