Congrats! I just got approved for the SW Raipd rewards Premier on 26 Nov and United Mileage On 28th. I appd today for Marriot and was denied due to too many applications. Wondering if I wait 30 days

No haven't tried nor will I try.. There is supposedly a way of doing it, but to be honest the card especially if the 140k promo comes back around it is worth the AF for me personally and you gotta pay for the benefits or that is how I view it.  300 Airline credit, free nights and club level upgrades, etc is worth it to me..  That is just this year next year January is another 300 airline credit come Jan 1st.. There is a way of doing it though, just not sure if it is appropriate to talk about here, but you can google how to do it

UPS of course is running behind today.  Actually have 2 cards coming from them as they got confused, nothing like a backup version

Ok. Did a quick Google search for the AF waiver and definitely not worth it, not even sure it's ethical!! Last thing I want to do is get on chase's bad side!

The perks are worth the fee, IMO!

I should have the card before the end of Dec., so I can use the 300 credit now, and again after Jan 1st? Being so close to the end of year I hate to lose of on the credit for 2015!!

Yep you can use it before end of year and on Jan 1st.. That is 600 right there.  Just got mine and paid a few bills for 600$.. Wasn't quite sure what to expect from the card, but the packaging is very nice and the card is well over the top and heavy as you probably already know.  Very nice looking card for sure.
