YAY!
After receiving my EQ alert that my score was up to 720 last night, I figured I'd try for my last four remaining credit lines to complete my credit picture. Hearing all the great success stories of those who waited six months, I decided to apply.
I was instantly approved for the Amex BCE (1,000) Citi Simplicity (4,000) Sallies Mae (5,000) and BML (2,869)
I was most shocked by the Citi approval, which was my first app, and most feared due to my inquiries, and short credit profile. I am trilled to be in the Amex family (finally) and Barclay gave me my highest trade line yet, and also my lowest APR at 13.99%. BML with it's amazing cloaklike capabilities will allow me to carry a high balance for a large purchase I've been desiring for the last 2 years.
My credit profile, if it helps anyone:
Fico Scores - Ex (696) EQ (720) TU (712) Citi listed 700 on my app summary, and Amex listed 696. Barclays Fico (743) CK (679)
Lender pulls
Amex - Ex
Citi - Ex
BML - EQ
Barclay -TU
Not sure who also pulled EQ, will update. Also, I am in Michigan.
Utilization
Ex (10%)
EQ (9%)
TU (13%)
AAOA
Ex ( 1 year 1 month)
EQ (1 year 1 month)
TU (CK - 9 months) and Fico (11 months)
Inquiries
Ex (1) six months (17) twelve
EQ (0) six months and (15) twelve
TU (0) six months and (12) twelve
Pre-approval offers - Only a Citi invitation by mail, after I attempted to obtain pre-approval on their website. Barclay, and Amex both were unable to match my profile. Oh, and also there was an online pre-approval for Cap 1 Platinum, Quicksilver, and Chase Freedom. Chase is on my blacklist.
I'm definitely planning on closing my Apple, and transferring the limit to my Sallies. Maybe I'll try for a lower APR today on my NFL card before my new cards report. ![]()
Freezing all my reports, and heading to the garden to collect my bag of seeds.
Cheers

Some balances hadn't reported yet. My Discover reported 0% last month, and this month EX reported $109.00 due to a pending charge that cleared early, while EQ hadn't updated yet, and TU havn't reported my new 0% balance on my Macy's down from $500.00.

Thanks everyone! I never expected to reach my credit goals as soon as I have, and I can't wait to see what the future holds once all my accounts have properly aged. I hope in a few years I'll be in a prime position for home owenership.
