Congrats! DCU is pretty conservative so $5K is impressive with that score. I have a 688 and I'm still stuck at my $1K SL 13 months later.
Thank you!
I was extremely surprised myself! EQ has been my one clean report since November. The only numbers I have are almost a month old at this point. I joined a CU about 5 months ago, but they were super conservative, and only pulled EX so I wasn't seeing any love at all.
That's probably it. I'm not clean. I'm 688 because of my BK. That should go up quite a bit when EQ takes the BK off in a few months.
I like DCU regardless though. I'm throwing money in the savings account too.

Thanks Smart!
Anytime
CONGRATS!! I've been thinking about DCU (again) myself. Unfortunately some of my longest- running open accounts are my overdrafts. I guess a Savings account couldn't hurt.

My hope is that this approval will keep me until the rest of my reports are clean. EX told me 12/23 is the last negative removal date, 11/23 for the other one. 🤞

Thank you! Their interest rates are insane! It's a relationship I'm hoping build up.
congrats! just remember that they don't report your statement balance. they report whatever's your balance on the last day of the month.
Congratulations!
