Congrats on the CLI!
I had a similar experience with my first Venture. I got the card this past January with a $5k starting limit. I put about $5-7k through the card each month and after about 3 months I asked for a CLI and was declined by the system. About a week later, I noticed that my CL had been increased to $7.5k, and about a week after that I received a letter from Cap One saying someone manually reviewed my CLI request and throught I could use a higher limit. Fast forward to July, exactly three months after my first Venture was approved and I applied for a second and was given a $30k starting limit.
Love that Cap One humans are making consumer friendly decisions.
