I would unlock it. My FICO score is less than yours at 736 and I was approved today at PenFed for 42K. That is my highest starting limit. Good luck!

Congrats on your approval.  I'm curious though; are you new to PenFed or are you an existing member?

A 736 score has almost no bearing on getting a Penfed approval nor did it help get a 42k limit cc. Your profile and income probably played a bigger role.

I agree 100%.

I have WAY more available revolving credit than I believe I should (and most certainly need), and that concerns me as it pertains to reductions in CL's.

So I'll go ahead and let that HP sleep and wake it some other day.

Congrats on your new addition, I hear lots of great things about NFCU, sadly I served in the Royal Navy so not able to qualify through service over here.
