Re: Sun Rises in the East

@Credit4Growth sure.

BOA - have a legacy MBNA card with a 9% fixed rate, which I just grew beyond $50k and which *I believe* has a $99k product max on it. I think all of their unsecured cards have $99k ish max on them unless you have significant assets with BOA or ML

NFCU Flagship - I'm at $50k now, looking to push higher in a few months. $75k product max

UNFCU - I've been a member for about a year and plan to app for their Elite card in 2021. $100k product max

CSR - Have one atm and can definitely grow over $50k (datapoints on here at $100k).

Ink Preferred (business) - Have one at $59k right now, can definitely grow.

Brex (business) - Have $100k+ limits (but linked to bank account balances)

UBS - as you mention, their visa infinite product likely does not have an upper bound.

HSBC - I'm a premier account holder with HSBC and plan to app for the World Elite MC. I'm also looking at a private banking relationship with them. I think this card can grow to over $100k.

Members 1st FCU - $75k product max on their Signature Rewards Card. Not sure if I'll pursue this one.

Any AMEX charge card, with enough use.

FirstTech FCU - I've been a member for about a year. Their Odyssey Rewards card has a $100k product limit on it. However, their customer service is just so horrible. I have a ton of patience, don't mind holding, don't mind CSRs having to ask their superiors for clarification, etc. But the reps I've dealt with are not in good moods nor do they answer any of my questions clearly and / or have no useful information. I was planning to app for this card next because my TCL is a little lower than my income (and they are sensitive to that, which makes them a good next app target), but honestly, I've lost interest due to my experiences with them. Also, one of the reasons I built a diversified foundation of CUs relationships was to hedge against too many AAs in the case of total financial system armageddon. I figure CUs will at least be slower with AAs if things go south. However, datapoints show FirstTech has a much higher propensity to AA vs most other CUs. It's a shame because a $100k product max card with a rate as low as 6.9% is enticing.

Hiya guys,

So I needed more CU love and went

back to Sun Trust FCU to get it.

I first got a 5K card from them last December.

Then I added a 10K card from them last May.

Now I asked them to increase my 5K line to 8K.

Man did I leave meat on the bone as it was approved

by the LO much to quick.
