DW was looking for a new card to replace her BofA account we are closing this month before the AF hits. We bank with SunTrust and liked what the SunTrust Cash Rewards card had to offer. Had her apply online and put me as an authorized user, not joing applicant. (So only she got the HP). Not sure if the account will also report on my bureaus, time will tell. Card offers 5% cash back on gas & groceries on the first 12 months for up to $6k spent, thereafter 2%. 1% cash back on all other purchases.
Got the 7-10 day message after applying late one night, called in the next morning and the automated line said she was approved. They pulled EQ and showed her with a score of 844 on a 250 to 900 scale. initial 15 months at 0% APR, thereafter 10.49%. $12,000 limit. No Annual Fee.
