Synchrony- Care Credit MC Approved

Applied and approved for 17K Mastercard. Had to call in and do some strange verification where they ask me a few questions and sent a text. Placed me on hold for about a minute and then came back on the line and said congratulations

You can apply straight for the mastercard version now?  Congrats on the approv al but last I knew was only for the store card that might in years and years if ever be converted into mastercard version.  

edit: seeing they appeared to have changed it for either version assuming it is based off a persons credit.  Certainly would be more useful in the MC version  other than ocassional vet or medical needs.  Edit did the pre-qual and got pre-qualifed for the mastercard as well..  Something to think about as well in the future.  Thanks for the information for myself and others.

@CreditCuriosity  When you apply unfortunately they don't let you pick which version of the card you want. The rep stated that you will be considered for both at time of application and if you don't qualify for the MC version you'll be offered the regular care credit card.

Agreed that is how all Sync cards works but new for the carecredit mastercard version as it use to be store card then maybe in 5-10 years you would be considered.  As mentioned I was just pre-qualified for the Master card version and clearly said that granted 820 TU score.  Have other cards on radar that want first but certainly might pick this up in the future after another 3 months vacation from credit cards to get a few that i want first and waiting for a year without any new CC accounts.
