Back in with Synchrony Bank after 2 years. Went through the whole new biometric identification routine. Upon that completion you are given a tele-number to call, that, and a unique code in order to complete the app processing on their end, which when done will trigger you a INQ. Just (TransUnion) so far. Happened to get a friendly helpful rep who requested the App ID and Code to finish up. Took maybe 5 minutes. When i first filled out the prequal app over the weekend, it only returned a notice that they would be in touch with verbiage via mail in 7-10 days. Well today that letter came. Approved for $1K SL and it's the Mastercard version.
No more apps after this one until the Inquiries reduce down again and those age of accounts can rebound after my current round of recent new card approvals grow. In fact given all the buzz i've read that Synchrony has raised with some, this is the ONLY synchrony card that i expect to have in my card profile lineup for awhile until the dust settles. I have tried Lowes, Sams and some others for many months in an attempt to get back in with them but with no joy. Until now. Definitely going to try to work up the line with increases as usual.

Congrats on getting back in with Synchrony and your Walgreens approval.

I'm definetly glad I got my Sync cards years ago. This new process is insane. I don't want to go all selfish for a card that could get shut down just because
. No tank you
. Enjoy though![]()

Thanks AJC. Yeah Synchrony version 2 definitely seems might be different on a couple few levels then we was use to before. The app process IS NOT so as invasive as it may seem but for many it's rightly a logical caution that raises some concerns. Its a 5 second self video plus ID pic front & back of your license. I been through more worse like questions on "what was your street address number 20 years ago" and "which county/territory did you reside when such & such". That's where you need a copy of your LexusNexus way ahead of a snap quiz. Taking a short handset vid is peanuts in comparison.
Congrats on the Synchrony approval!

Congrats on your Synch approval!
Congratulations on your approval!!
Congrats! That's a lot of rigmarole for a drugstore credit card, lol!

Yeah. Amex did that to me a couple of weeks ago when I opened my business checking account. Come to think about it, the IRSs TrustedId had a similar process.

Yeah it was different but nothing compared to being grilled for your history stretching way back to who knows how far. Piece of cake really. Just some diddle daddle face reader tech plus the reasonable D/L front/back pics and DONE.
