TD Double Up

Applied yesterday morning via online banking. App went pending. Called them and of course they had to complete additonal verification due to my fraud alert. Completed the callback verification at the phone number on my fraud alert. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that I then needed to go into a branch with my DL. The closest branch is 1hr and 20 mins away....... So today I got up early and had to drive and 1 hour and 20 mins to the branch. Branch Manager called back office and they discussed whatever the needed to and after 30 mins of waiting. She told me that I had been APPROVED! I will still attempt to recon my Citi DC but they told me I had to wait until I received the actual denial letter. This will become my new daily driver as it is a catch all card and I dont have to keep up with catergories or all that mess. This is the highest SL I have seen anyone report outside of the RH TD Approval for 45K.

Half of a day for the wait and round trip drive for a card.

But I will tell you... what happened to you is the kind of thing that is the reason I have been scaling back my 15 year relationship with TD Bank. I have never been able to get any assistance online. And I have had to make numerous trips to the bank which are always time consuming and a waste of time.
