I was approved for this card tonight, but wasn't made aware of my sl. So I called their automated system & it identified me by my phone and ssn. Then it said I have $200 available! What??!! Could this be temporary since it was just approved, or did they really start me at only $200? I have a great history with Synchrony, so I'm pretty surprised!

Have you tried the login site to see if you can set it up without the card? I don't recall if it's one that requires one to have the card activated before setting up, but if you can login, maybe it'll show your SL. Congrats on the approval.

Congrats on the new card. It sounds like that might be a temporary SL although I am not too familiar with the TJMAXX card. Love me some TJMAXX, Marshall’s and Ross though.

And Synchrony has been very good to me with sl's and cli's, so I will be shocked if they really started me at $200!

My mom was just approved a few weeks ago in store and the sl stated that it was temporary, when she received her card last week, it was $500 more than what she was approved for in store!

I want that card, I actually work for the TJX Companies and have been declined by Synchrony 2 times so far. My score has increased since, so waiting a bit longer and will try again! The card is awesome if you shop at the TJX Brands. For every $200 you spend you get a $10 certificate that don't expire! I love our stores, would be a perfect card for me!

Didn’t realize it was synch. I think it might be a temporary limit. When I was approved for my paypal card a few weeks ago, I was told $300 by one CSR before I got the card, even though  I was told $3000 at approval when I called in for verification. The CSR that told told me $300 could not see any record of a $3000 approval. Got the card and it was $3000 not $300.

IP that's fantastic! SO maybe my limit is $2k? Not as high as I'd hoped, but MUCH better than $200! I have Amazon $9k, Walmart $6k & Lowes $18k through Synchrony and they are very good about giving sp cli's so this account should grow quickly!

She received the MC!

She was going shopping and I told her to app for the card because she would get an addtional discount on her purchase. So she did and was instantly approved instore for $1,400! OMG, I was so jealous! When she got the card last week, the SL was $1,900! And, I'm sure it will only grow!
