I was going through my accounts this morning just to do my normal spreadsheet adjustments. I log into my Target account and see that my credit limit is now $1,800 (from $1,300). My statement cut the other day, but since I already knew what the reported balance was going to be, I didn't even think to check the statement immediately.
So that makes my my 3rd auto-CLI of $500 since I opened the card last November. Funny thing is, I didn't ask to be put on the CLI list this time because it is usually a futile effort. I also thought I had it figured out that maybe it was only given every 6 months, but the last CLI I got was just this past September.
I wish I knew what I was doing other than using it frequently and paying it off (and more often than not carrying a balance). Maybe it was because my scores all jumped up to 700+??? Who knows, but I won't knock it...Target sees me a lot and I get plenty of use out of the 5% discount in combination with the Cartwheel app.
Congrats...I however am still stuck at my original $200 CL for the fourth year now. Granted I only use it for a small purchase once every 3-4 months to keep it active, but what am I supposed to do with $200...lol? Happy Holidays!!!
Unheard of in these myFICO streets...CONGRATULATIONS!!
Congrats...something is surely changing on their end.
