Re: Target cli

Seriously **bleep** is up with this card?  I got mine 7 years ago with a $200 limit. 2 years later, i got a cli to $700, where it has remained ever since.

ive tried running up balances to the limit and paying it off before the statement is cut, ive let small balances post to statements and paid it off.

my credit score hovers between 760-790. I make almost $300k a year, which i update regularly. I have cards with $20k limits, but this thing is just stuck. It sucks because I would like to use the 5% more often for some larger purchases, but can't

i just made a $400 purchase last week. Should i pay it off now, pay off most or wait for the statement and pay it off?  Or does it not even matter?

I think its just one of those credit card enigmas, like the internal score at Navy fed, Discover card mysteries, and the Red card mystery.

I just think I am lucky. I burned TD bank in my bk7 of 2019 so logic would say they keep me on a short leash but they don't, its a head scratcher.

Re: Target cli

I was approved for the Target Circle card a couple months ago with a CL of $2000. I just have it for the 5% discount and just assume it will go nowhere. I'm not going to play guessing games with TD. I'm just accepting it for what it is, and am spending on my other cards.

My Target Circle card replaces my Target Red Debit Card which I had for years and which served me well through my BK. I decided to move on from that chapter in my life; applied for the Target Circle card and am just accepting it for what it is.
