This is my first post ever, but I've been reading the forums for about 6-7 months now (with no profile). Just wanted to say thanks to ALL of you for sharing your experiences, knowledge, and DPs. It's really helped me understand the credit world a lot more and helped me kick start my credit journey the right way. I've had a profile for quite some time (oldest account 12 years from college), but I've been through credit repair a couple times and it never seemed like it was working.
Last August, I said I'd had enough and would start researching my own credit repair instead of depending on the program I was in. I learned here that although my items were getting removed, my utilization was awful. At the time, I had a CP1 Secured ($200) and CP1 QuickSilverOne ($500 unsecured). I worked to keep the balances below 1%. In Nov, CP1 increased the QS1 to $1500! I read here about the Apple Card and did the pre-qual and pulled the trigger right afterwards and only got $250. 
However, reading here and learning a bit more about things I need to make sure I did (build relationships, etc.), I can say I've been approved for Navy Fed Cash Rewards on yesterday for $3500! And today, I was approved for Amazon Prime Rewards visa signature for $1500 (wish it was more, but it's a start to get into Chase).
My next goal is to get the Navy Fed, Apple, and Amazon Prime CLIs and trade my car in to finance with Navy Fed around August/September. I'd rather finance with Navy Fed and with my current Capital One Auto Financing.
