Yeah, it's usually in the $2 - $6K range. There are some who have taken a 2nd HP on activation to get 5 digit limits but I can hold out

You can say that again.

One year ago "This Month". i accepted a preapproval from Citi for the Simplicity (against my better judgement) after already having the DC card and they low balled my SL with $1K. I was so furious i called them and closed it. I thought surely they can do a little better that this, plus i didn't NEED a BT card per say anyway but felt the 21 month 0% would be a good way to build additional history with them by doing one and then PIF way earlier.

Now i find myself still wanting them to redeem theirself and likely will try for that same card again later next year.
