I now have a card with each of my CUs. I'm officially "in" and DONE(yeah yeah, I know I said that with my surprise NFCU approval...lol).
I figured that if I could get a nice SL with NFCU, that *maybe* Penfed would show me some love. Even if just a small SL. Even if the odds weren't necessarily in my favor at all, based on DPs listed on the forums.
Let's just say it was larger than I expected. My pull over the last 3 days is 19k in new/available credit.
On the higher end apr-wise, but it's a start. Being that I'm 15 months post-BK discharge, these limits are COMPLETELY unexpected.
Very happy and finally content with my lineup to garden for the next year or two.
Oh, and I did not receive any pre-approvals(mailers or otherwise)for either NFCU or Penfed cards that I app'd. NFCU only "preapproved" me for the NRewards when I did the prequal.
