It has been a solid 6 monthes since my last app so last night I decided to try for 2 cards I had my eyes on.
First went for the Amex EDP since worst case would be a soft denial. Came up as needed further review which I knew was atleast a good sign. After a day I received the email that I was approved and called to find out 2k. Hopefully I can get that up to 6k in a few monthes. Still have to call to make sure the welcome offer is still availible to me.
After that approval I figured I would try for the Barclaycard Arrival+ to get my foot in the door with them as well. Instant approval for 3.5k
My scores were EX: 737 and TU: 724
AAoA: just under 1 year
Had 4 Inq on EX, 5 on TU
20% utilation
Knew I would get lower limits by apping now but wanted to give myself a year in the garden as next year around this time I plan on buying a newer car. Ill try and grow these cards and see where we're at by then.
