UPDATE: 7-10 day on Venture... APPROVED!

Hey all,

Been enjoying my time out of the garden, 2/3 on my app sprees.  Got my phones migrated over to T-mobile (dang credit inquiry) but at least I was good without any questions for their JUMP program.  Anyway on Monday I'll start the renting process, so I figured Sunday night I'd sneak in one more app beforehand.  I recently opted-out in case we went through with the mortgage in case some zombie junk-debt buyers wanted to try and harass me, so I went into the Venture application blind...

After filling everything out and hitting submit, I got the 7-10 day message  I really hope I didn't just take three inquiries for nothing, ugh.  I checked Experian and TU through the backdoor and saw the hardpulls right away, but nothing in showing on Equifax.  I'm 99.99% sure it's not frozen, my TU and EXP were for a while, but I unfroze them due to job hunting and recent apps.

There are two AR soft pulls from Cap1 on 8/17 and 8/19, so maybe they didn't need a hard Equifax?

Time will tell.  Some people who have reported the 7-10 message have gotten big limits, so it's really still up in the air.  Keep us posted.

Best of luck with the outcome, pretty sure the EQ hp will come as well assuming it wasn't on ice.. If it was then that is most likely the cause fo the denial as 99% of the time that CB is required..  Hopefully this isn't the case.  Good luck!

All is not lost with a 7-10 day message. I was flat out denied when I apped after getting approved for the QS. I have a feeling I will be able to get it in 6 months with the way my scores are starting to go up.

Call them and see whats up. I was flat out denied on mine, i wish i received the 7-10. Just got off the phone with an EO rep and they said theyre going to submit it to their underwriters and i'll be contacted within 7-10 days.

Got some news...  The Equifax inquiry did eventually show up.  I found a backdoor number and gave them a call.  The rep was super friendly and she said she was glad I'd called because she did need to verify some information.  I asked if it was income verification, since I had to verify that when I submitted my CLI on my QS.  She said, no, not income, just a question about your address.  I use a PMB from the UPS Store and she needed to put that in.

Once she got that information typed in she said, well I have some great news for you, your application is approved for $15,000  Definitely glad I called in and didn't wait for the letter.  Anyway, I'm in a much better mood now and hopefully we'll hear back if we got the apartment I toured earlier today.

Thanks for the encouragement and the advice everyone, now I really am headed to the garden for the long haul

Oh the humanity for those poor one and two-day seedlings I murdered.  Bet they didn't see it coming after destroying the nice 5 month shrub I had going.  Maybe by a year it'll be a small tree?
