When i opened the account my balances on my other cards were reporting 30% or less and my scores were around 670 when BBVA approved me 10 months ago. I hope this helps anyone with a BBVA credit card.

By what I've read on the forum, I don't think asking for a specific amount matters with BBVA. They simply give you whatever you are eligible to recieve. I was not asked for an amount during the application but was approved for 9k, CL now 20k (SL 11k). Maybe if asked the next time just reply with the maximum allowed.
