Recieved a targeted Sothwest offer for 50K miles after 2K spend in 3 months. With a Disney trip coming up I figured what the hell and applied. I was instantly approved for $8.5K at 15.xx% APR.

Since I recieved such a high line and the lower interest rate I figured what the hell and went for the CSP, got the dreaded message. Called to recon and they said it's because I opened 2 Chase products in the last 30 days (SW and Freedom). The rep was very nice and told me to call back after April 3rd (when my Freedom is 30 days old).

I did recently open up a Chase Checking and I have run through about 2.5-3K on the Freedom and have paid it off in large chunks, so hopefully this will boost my internal score enough to snag the CSP. If not hopefully they will let me re-allocate some of the line from the SW and Disney visas...

Update: After contacting Chase's recon department I wanted to share that I was denied. The anaylst stated that all of my chase accounts have been opened in the last 3 months and they would like to see some payment history on those before opening a new account meaning they wouldnt let me re-allocate any of my current lines. Oh well, guess Ill garden the heck out of these cards.
