US Bank Cash+ Visa DENIED...then APPROVED.

Applied last week....was denied for having too much credit. Hmmm. Deny me because I am responsible and I have a large credit portfolio. Makes zero sense. Anyhow, went into branch and the manager called underwriting. Told them I was the ideal client for this card. I was then approved for $7500. EX FICO 773....Income $250K +....ZERO derogs.

BTW....this Cash+ Visa is my final card. I have every one that I desire now. Maybe in a year when inquiries fall off I will go after a Simmons just for the heck of it. As for now I am done.

That's something i never got around to doing in spite of pretty simple access to their branches not too awful far away.

I can only assume my card that's now closed they might have been better at raising the line on it from a simple visit. However with a camp chalked full of cards well beyond US Bank's progress in far less time i just didn't see a need for it but am sure it would have helped.

Good effort on your part to go in and state your case like that.

I don't have all my cards listed as they won't all fit in the signature line. My final card will be a Simmons probably in a year when inquiries are gone.

The to much credit line normally comes from credit unions surprised US Bank said that.

Me too......they pulled EX and I only have 6 inquiries there.
