I'm late seeing this, but congrats Bud! Gardnin' is hard, but this is a prime example of how rewarding it can be!

Thanks man!

I had a heck of a spree lol. These two approvals, HP CLI of $2K from BBVA and $3500 from DCU, $7500 Affinity FCU, and $14K AMEX Business Amazon Prime (I still can't believe that last one but I called and made sure I didn't mess up anything on my application and they confirmed it was all correct) and I got another $4K SP CLI out of NFCU too.

If I can score the Freedom Flex from Chase and More Rewards from NFCU in November I'll have accomplished every goal I have Smiley Happy

That's a great haul!

I'll be going for the Freedom Flex next year myself, along with the Cash + and Affinity card at some point along the way.

If I don't get another card this year, I'll be 4/24 in December. If I do, I'll be 4/24 in June of 2022. The Citi Custom Cash has thrown has a monkeywrench in my plans a little. 😂 The flexibility of being able to change how I use monthly is attractive to me. I can see it being our primarily dining card for 9 months out of the year when Disco isn't paying 5%. Right now, I'm capturing fast food with one of the Elan cards, but we are only getting 3% on sit down and local restaurants, which is where our largest dining spend is. If DW and I both get the Custom Cash card, it would seriously fill a lot of holes!

I've just got to decide what fits best. The good thing is that the 5% dining (10% this year because DW's Disco is in the first year) kicks in next quarter a couple of weeks, so I don't have to be in any rush.

I have been looking at the Custom Cash too but I don't currently have a spend category that would make it worth it unless I want to make it my groceries card, which I could do. 5.5% since I have a Rewards+ is not too shabby!

Unfortunately I don't want to risk the wrath of Chase by spreeing with the first card I get from them so I was only planning the two apps in November. We will see what happens I guess.
