After having such success with my requests for Penfed/Navy Fed CLIs and 1st tech Choice world approval I planned to garden for a good while to set myself up for a CSP perhaps and the US Bank Cash+. I got a little trigger happy. Ok to be honest I got a lot trigger happy and app'd for PSECU PLOC, Dover Advantage and was approved for both with SL 20K each and 6.99% for the advantage.
I still hadn't had enough and decided what the hey why not tempt fate and try for the US Bank Cah +. Well I app'd on 5 Jun and got the 7-10 days message. I was absolutely certain I would get a denial. I called today to check the status and automated system said the app was still processing. Spoke to an CSR whole told me she would transfer me to have the app reviewed since it had been 5 business days since I'd submitted the app. Spoke to someone else who asked a few questions and said everything looked good and she would send the app to UW to determine my SL. I definietly didn't expect to hear that after seeing all the posts about how inquiry sensitive US Bank has been reported to be in the past.
Received an email later with a $500 SL. I'm quite happy even though this is the lowest limit I've received since I began my post BK rebuild in 2018. I've got my foot in the door and limits can grow with proper tending. So now to the garden for real and to stay this time.

🌟 Congratulations on your recent CLI's, great SL's from PSECU and Dover, as well as your Cash + approval... let it grow! 🌴
Edited: to add First Tech CLI. On my first read that one slipped by me.
! it is party time! 🥳
The key metrics for US Bank are your x/6 and x/12 (x=number of reporting accounts opened in the last 6 & 12 months). Would you mind sharing what your x/6 and x/12 was at the time of US Bank application? Also, I just discovered today that this is area specific, so would you mind also sharing your state? Thanks in advance and congradulations!

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing the wins! I've got my eyes on Dover and PSECU. I applied for Dover on June 6 and still haven't been able to confirm my application even went through. Been waiting on a phone call from UW ever since. Had planned to hit PSECU. Now you got me lining up US Bank possibly lol

US Bank was the fastest of the three. I applied on 5 Jun and called after a day or two for status. The rep told 3-5 me business days for processing. When I call yesterday 6/13 the CSR said it was still processing but transferred me to the dept that reviews the apps since it had been submitted on 5 Jun. She reviewed my app while I was on the phone and then said she would forwarf to UW but that was just to determine my limit. Later the same day I received the approval email.
I applied for PSECU on 2 Jun after it sitting in pending review status for a 7-10 days I received approval on 13 Jun. I app'd for Dover on 21 May I believe it took about 7-10 days for them as well. I'm the impatient sort so I called fairly regularly and that seemed to move things along. Hope this gives you an idea of the time frame. Also I did have a fraud alert on my experian so those that pulled experian called to verify me and then approved while was on the phone.
Nice, grats on getting your foot in the US Bank credit door and with a very useful card ![]()
Congratulations on your US Bank Cash+ Approval!
Congratulations on your approval!!
