Ok so about a month ago I had my 1 year old US Bank Secured $500 limit PC'd to an unsecured platinum.
The same account was kept and the number was just updated on my credit reports.
Since it was still the $500 limit, and I have much higher limits now, I requested a CLI. The first time I requested it, nothing happens. But I realized I answered the security question at the end wrong where it said "Name of person on joint account", because I thought it said "Name on the account".
Anyways I tried again a couple days later, this time only requesting an increase to $1500 from $500, and TEN DAYS LATER, it was updated.
Boy are they slow and quirky, but hey, they showed me some love, so I cant complain.
rmitche - US Bank manually reviews a high percentage of credit approvals, CLI's and the like. They are slow and for sure old school in this one area of banking. From reading other posters on this site, it seems they do reward customers that use their products, build a good internal "relationship score," and build a good performance track record. As for myself, they have been quirky but true to what I just wrote.
