Applied for Smartly card and was just approved. They gave me a $1k starting CL, but hey it's better than a denial. Pulled TU. I've had a checking + savings with them for a few months now but was planning to close it prior to applying. Guess I'll load up $5k to hit the 2.5% while I figure out what I'm doing with it.
Question is how soon can I request CLI and is it sp or hp?
Congrats!
Congratulations on your approval. I know it's just me, but if my starting limit is $1000 my $5000 is staying where it is for 2.5 %.
Just business. 😁 Good Luck getting the limit up.
Congrats on the USB Smartly approval!
They approved me a couple months ago for an enemic profile damaging $500 and i straightway closed it,

I feel like i'd do the same for $500. However I have a bit of a dirty profile sooo i'll take whatever relationship building amount I can get.
I think I can make $1k work for a bit as a secondary card while I wait to get the cash for higher tiers into USBs ecosystem.
Rumor has it the card is about to be nerfed- they've already started to gut the entire "smartly" deposit account program (no more checking fee waived with a credit card). It wouldn't be the first time time US Bank has changed their card from "too good be true!" to simply "meh." I swear the company US Bank should have a co-branded card with is Hasbro (maker of the nerf ball)...
Nicely done!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂

Can request as soon as the card arrives in the mail
It's a hard pull

Grats.
You can request one immediately. At least two successful threads for CLI in about 30 days (these were TU HPs.)
