I applied on 2/20/25, out of footprint, self employed, $45,000 income, FICO 798, Utilization about 8%. No prior relationship. Instant Approval $11,200.
I was surprised at the instant approval and for such a high credit limit considering how conservative US Bank is with new customers with no prior relationship. Prior to applying my total available credit among all issuers is just under 3x income.
I also opened the Savings Account and want to open the Checking but only if I get the bonus and for some reason it won't attach the offer when I go to apply.
I did have a checking account for 6 months in 2020 (for the bonus) and had a US Bancorp Investments account (to get around OOS when that still worked).
