USAA Cash Rewards Signature Approval

I have recently applied for a USAA Cash Rewards Visa Sign. It was not instantly approved but came back with a 7-10 days message. I unfroz EQ but there was no HP. Yesterday they called and asked that I unfreez EX. I tried to reason EQ but they insisted on EX. After a pull, I was approved for a $15000 SL. Do I have a shot at asking for 20k or I should let it be?

I have never used them for anything other than insurance until few years ago.

Re: USAA Cash Rewards Signature Approval

IDK if you have a shot but I just got their rate advantage card in November bc it has zero percent on purchases until April 2025. I have never had any relationship with them whatsoever and they gave me a 20K instant approval! I have a fraud alert on my reports so I was kinda surprised by the instant approval as I rarely get that except from Amex.  So far I like them as I have called a couple times and the reps were super nice.  They also pulled EX for me here in FL. Congrats on your new card!

I have a 0% APR for 15 months. I also wanted a catagory free cash back so this meets that goal.

I have a 60D, 90D and a 120D marker on my reports from 2019. I believe that was what kept me at $15000. I am not sure. What were your stats at the time if you recall?

Re: USAA Cash Rewards Signature Approval

A CLI will result in a 2nd HP and its unlikely you'll get a CLI now.

WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂

On Experian which they pulled my score was a 760 if I recall with 6 inquiries at the time. I have a TON of new accounts since I started rebuilding in 2017. I prob have 24 or so open cards which is kind of insane but I am addicted. I have almost 200K in open CL. I think now I am 7/24 or somewhere around there, I am waiting for my new Citi AA card to pop up and I am done for at least a year. (So I say lol)

I forgot to mention my overall util was about 3%. I dont usually carry anything but small balances bc for some odd reason when I pay off all my cards my score goes down!
