After getting AMEX and US Bank approvals for my DW, it was my turn.
I decided to go for Uber card and Discover IT to fill out our portfolio of cards.
I've got an itch to try for the NFCU or a separate US Bank Cash+ for me, but trying to hold myself back.
Got an instant approval for Uber at $2k SL.
- Called the backdoor # for a recon (happy with the $2K but would love to have more cushion)
- Asked about employment history and wanted to know about the BK7 in 2012
- They said that it shows how we have established ourselves well since the BK, which they like to see
- Asked how much I was looking for, and I told them $6k (didn't want to be too greedy)
- They approved the $6k with a soft pull! Kind of wish I asked for more, but this will be perfectly fine!
Got an instant approval for Discover IT at $11k SL.
