It's happened again. I went to make a payment on my Ulta Mastercard and found the "request a credit limit increase" staring me in the face. I was okay with that limit; I don't spend enough on it for it to warrant more than $10k in my opinion, but this time I went for it, updated my income, and received a $3,000 CLI from $9,700 to $12,700.

Even though you didn't really want/need the increase, look at it this way: it pads your TCL and reduces your overall utilization (if you're carrying any balances). With no HP or anything, it's a win/win situation!
