@Aim_High I've just gotten into the Cap One ecosystem(month ago) so I've been following comments and insights such as yours to understand them a bit more. I didn't realize they were as particular as you and others mention around pc change.

All the lenders have their own unique rules and restrictions on CLIs (SP or HP + frequency), combining limits, product changing between cards, interval between new cards, and many other parameters.  I like many things about Capital One but some of their policies are less flexible and consumer-friendly than some other lenders.  Product changes are available but only between certain cards. My QS has only been eligible to pc to the original Venture card.  They used to allow Credit Limit transfers but stopped that a few years ago. All these rules do change at times so patience can pay off.

Congrats on your CapOne CLI @Aim_High .

Now you need to work on the embarrassing WF Cash Wise limit. Smiley Wink

Thanks very much, @NoMoreE46Smiley Embarassed  Yes, I'm working on all those "embarassing" limits less than $15K.  Long term, I plan to only have my BofA Customized Cash Rewards sitting at $14.9K as my lowest card, but that's primarily so I can keep the high $85K limit on Premium Rewards.  Between the two, I'm at the "glass ceiling limit" of $99.9K with BofA.  I have plans to close both the Chase hotel cards and consolidate limits.   I also have plans to increase the limit on my $9K Ink Cash.

The Cash Wise was approved in 2020 at the end of my two-year app 'spree' so it got a lower starting limit than some of my other cards.  It was a preapproval so it was tempting and it had a SUB, but of course the 1.5% cash back is subpar.  My plan had been to later app for Propel and consolidate limits but then WF canx the Propel.  Smiley Frustrated   WF has pushed me to underwriting for a HP on any CLI request, so I've let it sit at initial SL or $10.5K.  Now that the Active Cash and Autograph are released, I am eligible to PC to either.  However, if I will have to take a HP to increase the limit, I'm thinking I will wait and apply for a new card for the SUB with the HP, then later combine those limits.  While Autograph is very similar to the Propel I had been planning to app, my enthusiasm for it has faded since it was always a duplicate of my other rewards cards anyway.  I'm hoping that they might release yet another new card or two within the next year that is more appealing.  Meanwhile, I've been gardening most of the past 24 months (except for adding the AMEX Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant with a SP).  I have a few other cards that would be more important than adding a new WF card at this time.  So, long story short, it will just sit there a little bit longer!  Lol Smiley Tongue
