Upgrade to Target Mastercard

Last week I received a CLI on my Target Redcard from $2100 to $5000. As you know, you can not request a CLI so any increase is aappreciated. Today I received a letter saying that my Redcard will be upgraded to a Mastercard in Sept. I don't know why I am so excited about this as the benefits are not exceptional.

Redcard was opened 10/19 with SL of $1000. All of my scores are in the 730s.

I was just looking for posts to see if Target still did this. Ive had the card for about 5 years now. They used to give regular $300 increases for several months straight. The limit started at $300 now its $2300 but its never been upgraded. I use it regularly and even have regular deliveries lol. Im wondering what it takes to get the upgrade 🤔
